At 600gsm (almost twice as thick as normal cards) and with an optional colour line running down the thin edges...we thought we would dip our toes in the water and test these new style of cards. We are not sure whether they are an improvement on our existing cards...but the turn-around and packaging is fab.

Watergate Street is one of our favourite Streets in Chester and home to the wonderful Watergate Street Gallery, always worth a nosey, if only to slaver over the limited edition Peter Blake prints.

We are just putting the finishing touches to the artwork for the long-awaited Ian Prowse retrospective ‘Does This Train Stop On Merseyside - The Very Best of Ian Prowse’.

Featuring both Amsterdam and Pele classics, the CD comes with a glorious 16 page booklet, with full author’s notes.

The album launch and UK tour kick off in April 2012.

Graystons Solicitors Re-Brand

We have just finished re-branding Wirral clinical negligence specialists Graystons Solicitors. Simple, clean and elegant lines were the order of the day. The classic combination of Gill and Perpetua provided the typographic elements.

We are currently working on revamping their web site.

We are delighted to have been chosen as an official partner and approved supplier for Marketing Cheshire.

We already work closely with Marketing Cheshire on the monthly What’s On guide. So to get an official stamp of approval has rounded off a pretty successful summer for Lemondrop.

We are old hands at providing the tourism sector with creative solutions; from small independent hotels to large national attractions.

Meet Lemondrop’s newest talent, Mark Johnson from Bishops High in Chester, with us for a two-week skive from school.

He has been designing graphics for Halo, making the occasional brew and keeping us abreast of Liverpool’s meanderings in the summer transfer market.

He’s taking us the pub next Friday, get em in lad!

Junior Road Safety Officers

We have just completed the updated version of the Cheshire Junior Road Safety folders.

We worked with Cheshire West and Chester’s Road safety officers and Cheshire Police to engage junior school children in issues surrounding road safety, online safety and staying safe using public transport.

We have recently completed the rebrand for the Suites Hotel Knowsley. We were commissioned to inject some new life into a hard working but tired brand.

We produced brand guidelines, various print and signage projects, and of course a shiny new web site with supported e-flyer campaign.

Our tribute to Eric Gill

Just had our posters back from the printers...and spruced up the office no end they have I can tell you.

Our favourite typefaces, Gill and Perpetua, have pride of place on our walls in a tribute to master typographer and infamous paraphiliac Eric Gill.

Both originally cut in the 1920’s, is any other typeface as quintessentially English?

On a visit to the very plush Cheshire West and Chester Headquarters we came across our pocket cycle guides on the main info desk...very splendid they looked too, almost inspired us to get on our own bikes, so to speak...perhaps best wait for the Spring!

Website almost ready for launch

Can’t believe it’s the nearly the end of the year...and what a year! The events of December the 2nd are still fresh in our minds and it’s difficult not to let the fire cloud what was an otherwise excellent year for Lemondrop.

We now have new offices, new kit (woop) and a fresh new brand which is launching in January.
